Goderich, June 14—They just can't

now even.
Owing to the rain on Monday, the
Clinton vs Zurich game was cancel-
led. On Thursday evening Zurich
will be at Exeter, and next Monday
evening they will go to Staffa. The
next game at Zurich will be July 5,
when Exeter will be here.
Zurich Junior Institute
The June meeting of the Zurich
Junior Institute was held on Wealnes
day June 6th in the Town Hall, Zur-
ich. Miss Irene Mousseau presided
over the meeting which was opened
by singing the Institute Ode, follow-
ed by the Lord's Prayer in unis cin.
The minutes of the last monthly me-
eting were read and adopted. The
business and correspondence was
then dealt. with. The roll call was an-
swe}ed to by "My Favourite Flower"
First on the program was a reading
by Mary Coleman and afterwards
the girls joined in a number of songs
Next on the program was a reading
by Miss Mildred Smillie which was
much enjoyed by everyone present.
The meeting then closed and the
girls joined the boys for the joint
meeting at which special arrange,
menta were made for picnic to be
held at Turnbull's Grove on Wednes
day, June 27th. At the close of the
joint meeting came a number of
games and later closed by singing

eting of the Zurich Junior Institute
and Junior Farmers' will be hard in
Zurich Town Hall, on July 4th 1944
and we are hoping to see a good at.
