A play entitled (Civil Service)
will be given in the Evangelical
church shed on Monday. evening,
May 28th by the young people of

gram will take the form of an open
air service to be held in the church
lawn. The singing will be accompan
led by the Dashwood• Musical Society
Band. Instrumental numbers, recitat-
ions and a short missionary playlet
will also be given..The usual offering

Death of Mrs: J. K. Goetz
Mrs. J. K. Goetz, formerly Miss
Ernestine Truemner died on Friday
night, May 18th at the home of her
son Reuben in Dashwood. She was in
her 77th year and although in poor
health during • the winter her illness
became acute about a week prior to
her death. Her husband predeceased

Dashwood; a sister Mrs.. John Geiger
of Pigeon, Mich; and a brother Mr.
Daniel 'Truemner of Crediton. The de
ceased was an active member of the
Eanvgelical church and the Ladies`
Aid and was beloved by all who.knew.,
her. The floral tributes were many
and beautiful showing the esteem in
which she was held. The funeral was
held on Monday afternoon from the
home, to the Evangelical church,
with interment in Exeter cemetery.
