Wednesday evening, May .1,0th, the Junior Institute and Junior far- mers -of Zurich 'were invited down to Parkhill. The boys and girls of Park- hilI held a separate meeting first and afterward a joint 'meeting was held and much enjoyed with ,two special speakers present. Lunch was then served and the rest of the evening was indulged in dancing. The next meeting of the Zurich Junior inst- itute and Junior Farmers will be held in Zurich Town Hall, on June 6th, and we are hoping to see a good at- tendance. Cullen South Huron Junior' Farmers : The- South Huron Junior Farmers and Junior Institute held their re- gular meeting in the Town Hall, Zurich on Monday evening, May 7th. This was .one of the best attended meetings sinse organization, there being about fifty-five in attendance. After the boys and girls each held their separate meetings, they all met together for a socoal meeting. Mrs. H. McEwen of Hensall having trav- elled extensively, gave very interest- ing half hour's talk on her trip to -the West Indies. Some of the boys were called on for a speech. Many of whom - are developing into fine, speakers; it is remarkable• the pro- gress the born' club is showing in this 'line. The last hour was spent in playing 'games with the Gelinas orchestra intervening., The meeting was •then adjourned until the next regular meeting night which will be the first Monday evening in June. On invitation .from the Parkhill Jun- iors ;the Zurich Club motored down on Wednesday evening, May 9th and put on a musical program for the joint meeting, about thirty-five of the members were able to make the trip to Parkhill. Zurich Club is fortun- ate in having a great deal of music- al talent which was very prominent during the program, Following this the floor was cleared, lunch was ser- ved, and a couple of hours was spent in lively (lancing for which the Zur- ich boys and girls also supplied the music, ' Everybody had a very en- joyable time and went .home hoping to meet the Parkhill.
