STANLEY TOWNSHIP Mr. Orval Stephenson and his mother, Mrs. W. H. Stephenson of Marlette, Mich, were here attending the funeral of the late Mrs. Mc- Clinchey. Word has been received here- of the sudden death at Tupperville of Rev- Robert A. Miller, a former pas- tor on the Varna Charge and whose wife was formerly Miss Margaret Clark of Varna. Death of Mrs. Robert McClinchey There passed away at her home on Goshen Line, Stanley, on Satur- day, April 28th,Mrs. Robert McClin- they. Also one brother, Henry Erratt of Stanley survives. The family also suffered a very great Toss about 16 months ago when the eldest son, Willie, was suddenly taken away, especially was it a heavy blow to the mother in her weakened physical condition. The •funeral which was held on Monday to Bayfield-ceraetary was am larg- ely' attended. The services 'were con- ducted by her pastor, Rev. E. A. Poulter, who spoke of her Christian faith and fortitude through her days physical pain and weakness. Very appropriate solos were sung by Mr. George Poulter and Mr. Orval Ste- phenson. The floral tribute was very 'beautiful, erne 'wreath being from the Goshen W. M. Z. of which the -deceased was a faithful member, also one from the Bake -Goshen Y.P: Society' and a number from loving friends. The pall -bearers were six nephews: . Willie Arnestrong, Robt.
