That .Progressive Convention
In looking over the exchange we-
eklies we notice some comments en
that Progressive. convention held at
Hensel' last Monday, and as Mr, J.
Ballantyne won the convention, we
notice some calling him "Liberal"
"Liberal -Progressive" and "Indep-
endent" candidate, and surely with
all these forces behind him it should
be easy to elect him. We notice a
rather interesting editoral in the Ciin
ion .News -Record as follows: "The
Progressives of South Huron Must
feel a bit like the man who _allowed
the camel to stick his nose in his
tent to warm it, and who was finally
trowded out as the camel pushed in,
They invited 'all those opposed to
the Henry A.dministration' to attend
their convention and co-operate with
them, and the Liberals went in and
ousting the Progressive member,
chose their own candidate.

only regret that more municipalities
do not make provision to use this,
splendid material, and also the
limitations of our pocketbooks that
we cannot afford to put more of

wished to point out was that With

up wonderfully this spring: We know
of places in town that have for
years been bad each spring, but this

some years, and the same is exifer-
