Don't forget the big event of the
season, Zurich Fall Fair, on Monday
and Tuesday, Sept. 25th and 2Gth.
the management of this Society has
spared no efforts in making this one
of the best Fairs ever held. Num-
erous special prizes are being offer-
ed, which are worthwhile of picking
up. The concert in the town hall on
fair night put on by the Young Peo-
ple of Zurich, promises to be full
of laughter and fun. Don't miss it.
Bring the whole family and enjoy
the afternoon and evening's fun.
As we go to press this Wednesday
we learn of the passing of one of
Zurich's pioneer residents in the per-
son of Mr. Thomas Johnson, whose
departure occurred early this Wed-
nesday Morning at the fine old age
of 87 years, 8 months and 27 days.
The funeral will be held on _Friday,
from the family residence, Zurich at;
one o'clock and thence to the Bad-
en Lutheran cemetery where inter-
ment will be made at four o'clock.
Mr. Johnson was the oldest i,usiness
man in Zurich living and was highly
respected by all who know him. A
more complete obituary will follow
in next week's issue.
Our town subscribers will be a

around the shop. Here's hoping for
