THE NEW SYSTEM
It used to be that the Ontario
farmer planted on his far.m what-
ever he saw fit and took his Chances
Now, :under the international wheat
agreeznent, he will plant what the
Ottawa government tells him. Yet
ire will be still free to take the chan-
ces.
Money in Hogs
There's money in hogs, even at
present comparatively low prices.
When the Huron County house of
refuge committee met at Clinton last
week the keeper of the home pres-
ented the committee with a financial
statement of his hog operations -for
the year 1932. It showed a net pro-
fit for 1932 of $700. Minute acco-
unt was kept of all expenses, except
labor, and everything was properly
charged. In 1928-29 the home made
over $5,000 a year; on its hogs.

IN MEMORIAM
In loving memory of Olga (How -
aid) Miller, who passed away Sept.
13th, 1931. ••
In our home she is fondly remem-
bered
Sweet memories cling to her name,
Time rolls on, we are reminded
Of a day our hearts were crushed.
When God took you, oh so quickly,
And we all in gloom were thrust,
In the bloom of life death claimed
you?
In the pride of early years.
But we hope to meet some day,
And be with you always.
Sadly missed by loving Father,
Mother, Sisters and Brothers.
