'Truck Burns Near Lucan
A large truck owned by Epps
Transport, Varna, was •dcstroyed by
fire on Saturday last,'`hhen re, crash-
ed into the ditch and caught on fire
on No. 4 Highway, between Lucan
and Elginfield. The driver, Norman
Schuter of Varna, and his brother,
Elliott Schuter, in the ,cab together,
were able to get out of the machine,
unhurt except far a few bruises. In
spector Lucas saki that the king pin
on the steering gear had evidently
broken, cousing Schuter to lose con-
trol. The Lucan fire brigade respon-
ded to an alarm, but the machine
had been practically demolished by
the flames by the time it arrived.

all the overhead, it can be seen that
the prices are not any lower than
right here at home, and another big
advantage you have the local merch-

are very grateful to Mr. Buswell, the
promoter of this event, who has bro-
ught these business men together and
have united themselves in giving the
public real service and value for their
dollars which is a big factor in
these rather depressing tunes. Let

hours about it, and come as ofe d
as you can yourself.
