bride's brother. After the ceremony
the bridal party repaired to the home
of the :bride's parents, where a wed-
ding dinner was resved. Immediat-
relatives of the contracting parties
and a number of guests sat down to
a table prettily decorated for the
occasion. Afterward the young co-
uple left for a motor honeymoon trip
to Niagara and other points east, the
bride travelling in a lemon knit suit
with matching accessories. After-
ward they will• reside at the bride-
groom's farm in Stanley Township.

The Dashwood Branch of the U.F.'
Y.P.O. held a jolly beach party at
Turnbull's Grove on Friday evening.
An enjoyable time was spent in
playing games after which all toas-
ted weiners around a bonfire, Ice
cream was served. Miss Ella Mart-
inson was convenor of the committee
in charge of arrangements.`
Death of Fred Weiberg.
Fred Weiberg passed away on Mon
day at his home on the Lake Road at
the age of 77 years, 8 months and
24 days. He is survived by his wid-
ow (nee Elizabeth Rupp), one dau-
ghter, Mrs . Jacob Fischer (Mary),
and three sons, Henry at home, Fred
on the Lake Road and Charlesof the
14th Concession,, and 11 grand chil-
dren. Funeral cervices was held on
Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the home and
at the Lutheran church with Rev. T.
Luft officiating. Interment in the
Bronson Line Cemetery.

An old time gospel meeting was
held on the streets at Crediton Satur-

ther Insurance Mutual Company met
