The regular meeting of the Vil-
lage Council was held on Monday
evening, February 6th at 8 p.m. in
Council Chamber with all members
being present.
The minutes of the previous meet-
ing were adopted : as read.

Themany friends of the late :Tom
my Kyle were sorry to hear of his
death which occurred at his -home
east of Hensall on Sunday. For
many yearsof his. life were spent on
the farm on Parr Line where he was
well known and loved by all who he
knew and came in , touch with. Al-
though a cripple from early life, he
always had a kind word for every-
one and he will be greatly missed by
his sorrowing parents and the sym-
pathy goes out from this community
to them.

near Centralia, ;of Hecter Mitchell, in
his 44th year.'; Deceased leaves a
widow and three young children.

her death, it being taken accidentally
instead of• salts, a package of which
was near at hand. .
Geo. Clark Holland, of Clinton,
who has been a resident of Goderich
township nearly all his life, passed
away on Jan. 25th, after a second
