KILLED WHEN CAR DITCHED Charles Finldbeiner, Seaforth, was
killed in an automobile accident on
Sunday afternoon last near the Perch
Bridge, three miles east of Sarnia.
He was on his way to visit his dau-
ghter; Mrs. Wm. Faulkner of Sarnia
when a iblowout caused the car. -to go
into the ditch. The car caught fire,
but other occupants escaped. The
unfortunate man is believed to have
suffered a fractured skull. The car
was driven by his daughter, Helen
and also contained Mrs. Finkbeiner
and Miss Faulkner of :Seaforth. The
car- was seen to • go into the ditch by
nearby farmers who rushed to the
scene. The car meanwhile had start-
ed to burn, but they had no difficulty
in removing the occupants. Mr. Fink-
beiner was born in Germany and was
a former resident in the Dashwood
and Crediton district. He is survived
by his widow and three daughters.
