Miss Grace Ortwein of the Bron- son line who has spent the past three weeks with her sister near Hamilton, has returned home. Mr, Charle Pope, the Diesel eng- ine mechanic of Brussels, gave the large engine of the Zurich mill a touch-up on Monday. Mr. Albert Heideman who is a student at the Orangville Business College„ spent the week -end at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. Heideman. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Oesch, bridal co- uple are making preparations to move in the house owned by the Mrs. L. Geiger Estate, and opposite the Ev- angelical Church. Mr. William J. Dowson has purch- ased the dwelling property at the south end of the village, which he Dain has had rented for a time, from Miss Elizabeth Truemner. Mr. Roy Weber of Hensall was a Sunday visitor with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Weber. Doctor 95 Years Oid Dr. J. W. Browning, oldest practis- ing physician in Canada celebrated on Monday at his hone in Exeter, his 95th birthday. Dr. Browning who carne to Exeter three days after Con- federation, has practised without in- teruption ever since. In his youth lie was one of the first telegraph op- erators. having picked up the code from 'other members of the family when he was but 14 years of age. A steady procession of visitors maria its way to the doctor's office adding their congratulations to numerous 'messages sent by mail and wire.
