In Police CQurt
.Magistrate Makins conducted a
brief session at Goderich on Thursday
last with only two oases on the docket
Cliff Paterson and Robt. McArthur,
transients, were charged with consu-
ming liquor in a public place. They
were arrested at Wingham when pol-
ice investigated a bosterous party in
a freight car on a siding. Police were
tunable to determine the type of in-
toxicant used, but itcertainly had the
effect desired by the consumers, as
they admitted when. pleading, they
-received 20 days being unable to pay
the costs. -First thought of Wilfred
Donaldson, Goderich trucker, after he
had figured in an auto accident was
to grab his camera and take a snap
of the scene, including the hamaged
tars, and the prints were placed in
evidence in Mag. Makin's court on
Thursday, when Donaldson was chief
witness in a reckless driving charge
against E. Hearn, Dublin car sales-
