School had the misfortune of slipping
at school on Friday and badly sprain-
ed her ankle, but • she has recovered
sufficiently to be able to attend sch-

GOOD ATTENDANCE
The Western Fair, London, which.
closed on Saturday enjoyed a very
fine attendance this year, like the
Toronto Exhibition, there was a much
larger attendance than last year. The

W. M. S. FALL RALLY
The annual Fall Rally oif the Cred-
iton District of the Women's Miss-
ionary Saeiety was held on Friday
afternoon and evening in. Zurich Ev-
angelical Church with a record at-
tendance. Five W.M.S. societies from
Crediton, Dashwood, Zurich and Ald-
boro were well represented and also
thre Young People's ]'fission Circles
from Creditor., Dashwood and Zurich
The afternoon session opened with
36,672, or a total of 148,343 as com-
pared to 111,671 in 1937, and as a
consequence, the fair 1:oord reports a
very good year financially. We trust
