But mnet be throlhful for the SPRAYING OF WEEDS County Engineer T. R. Patterson of Goderich reports that weeds a long 140 miles of the principal road: ef the. County have been sprayed far this year, and he expects this mileage will be doubled by the ono of the season. Some little effects has been Sioted, but the degree to which permanent results have been -effected will not be known until next year. He points out that the County during the last 15 years spent $3,000 to $4,000 annually for weed-cutting,and each succeeding year saw no deplet- ion in the ranks of the weeds. This year's application of cost $7,000, but in throe seasons the growth should be negligible.
