The minutes of the previous meeting we- re read aand adopted. The following correspondence was read and filed: 1. From the Secretary of The Ontario Association of Rural Munic- ipalities regarding work of the As- sociation of Rural Municipalities re- garding work of the Association and asking the Township to become a aaaeinber, 2. From the County Clerk stat- ing the rate for County purposes for the year 1938 is $14,212.21. 3. From the District Engineer of Municipal Roads stating that the De- partment approves of the tender let ey this Council to Sim Ireland and W. H. Jennison for crushing gravel and hauling same. • 4, From the Department of High- ways regarding issue of peemits to those who contemplate erect=ng a building or other structure within 150 feet of any of the King's eagn- ways in the Municipality. 5. From the Department of He- alth regarding amendments to San- atoria far Consumptives Act. Motion, that by-law Na.. 6.24 to authorize the Reeve and Treasurer to sign the Bond of Indemnity in iuvor of The Canadian Bank of Commerce on payment of certain funds on de- posit in the London Braasch in the names of the late Mary McLaughlin and Ida Haines, having been read 3 times be passed and signed by the Reeve and Cleaik and Sealed. HYMENEAL Addison—Cameron • The home of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh D. Cameron, Huron street, Clinton, was the scene of a pretty wedding on Saturday when their second daughter Jessie Margaret, became the bride of Dr. Joseph Alexander.. Addison of Zurich, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Addison, Clinton. Rev. A. Lane, pastor of Wesley Willis United Church, Clinton, officiated. The bride given in marriage by her father, was charming in a gown of white net over satin with bolero jacket and finger tip veil. She• carried a bouquet of rapture roses. Misses Kathleen and Jean Cameron, sisters of the bride, were ,bridesmaids. They were dressed in soft turquoise sheer with matching caccessoriss and chose col- onial bouquets. The groom was sup- ported by Robert Cole, Clinton. Miss Agnes Cameron, sister of the bride sang . "At Dawning." .Mrs. B. Walk- er, Zurich, aunt of the bride, played the wedding march. At the reception following the ceremony the bride was assisted in receiving by her mother and the groom's mother, Doctor and Mrs. Addison left for a motor trip through Northern and Eastern Ont- ario and the Eastern States.
