church Ulrich on Sunday was ex-
ceptionally well attended as the pas-

Kincardine -Maurice Masse, eldest
, son of the Masse family of 21 child-
.. ren, south of St. Joseph, escaped
. with a slight shaking -up when his
motor ear was in collision with a
gravel truck driven by Murray Shel-
ton, Kincardine last week. Shelton
also was shaken up. Both machines
were damaged. '
Open For Business
Mr. Howard Klopp who has leased
the new service station from C. Fritz
& Son for this season opened up for
business on Saturday, and has enioy-
ed a large volume of business over
the week -end. Mr. Fritz has reserv-
ed the easterly portion of the build-
ing which he uses as a show room for
the new Dodge cars they have the
agency for, and also space for used
cars 'on the lot.
Away to Toronto
• Mr. Albert J. Kalbfleisch was in
Toronto on Friday last with a dele-
gation from Grand Bend which in-
terviewed the Minister of Welfare at
the Parliament Buildings in connect-
ion with obtaining some assistance
from the Government in providing a
public rest iroom at Grand Bend, The
Bend, like practically every other re-
sort, when the large crowds gather
in the summer months, have not any
too much of this kind of accomod-
ation, and with the assistance of the
Provincial Government this could be
