A LEGAL PROBLEM An unusual situation was revealed to authorities at Goderich recently, when John Zuefle, aged 79, of Hensall .asked legal advice as to his standing and also that of his family. Mr. Zile - fie carne to Canada 56 years ago from •Thonbach, Wurtemburg, Germany, and setled in Hay -Township. Many years ago the village clerk at Hensall '.gave him a paper which Zuefle thou - lilt was to recognize his naturalizati- an, but he foixncl out only recently that he had 'not been naturalised lit the intervening years he married a Canadian girl, who by law became German, while their children were 'British subjects. Mr. Zuefle also vot- ed, was a member of Hay Township Council, and for some years past has been a recipient of the old age pen- sion, for no one of which was he legally eligible. The 'co:nplicat case has been r'eferred to the Secretary of State at Ottawa for a decision, which is to be headed dein on Sept€ntllt?' 3rd. tblr. yeas•, Zurich Takes Two A most beautiful evening and a fairly large crowd was the setting, en.
