Wires Were Down IOn the' Blue Water Highway a ehoit distance north of Grand Bend, aoout half a mile of telephone wires and pales were down owing to the recent storm. The wires had become sheathed in ice and the poles were broken from the weight and the wind. That the fidelity bond of $10,000. bonding the Township Treasurer with the Employers' Liability Assurance Co., be renewed for one year. The •first meeting of the Council of the Township of Hay for the year 1938 was held in the Town Hall, Zur- ',1., on Monday, January 10th at 11 :';;lock in the forenoon as provided ?or in The Municipal Act.
