Mrs. Harry G. Hess, assistant tea
cher of the "Star Beams" Sunda
School Class of the Evangelical chu
rch, Zurich entertained the members
of the class at a delightful Hallowe'-
en masquerade party, which was held
at her home on November 4th. The
evening was spent in games, contests
and music, after which all partook of
a odelicious lunch served at a beauti-
ful decorated I-Ialowe'en table. After
the ,president, on behalf of the class,
expressed wards of appreciation, to
Mrs. Hess for her kindness. The
happy party then left for their re-
spective homes, after spending an
evening which passed all too quickly.

Produce Shipped West
The committee in charge of the
loading of the car of roodstuff for
the West for relief from Hensel! sta-
tion .recently, wish to thank the pub-
lic for their support: in c;onating the
goods. $3'5.75 in cash was -:cceived,
which was used to purchase potatoes.
The car was loaded to the roof and
contained the following goods: Pat-
ntoes, 430 bags; beans, 46 bags; r eg-
ags; turnips 111 bags;
fruit boxes; apples 30

SUNDAY SCHOOL WORKERS
MEET
A. successful convention of Sunday
school workers was held in the Dash-
wood Evangelical church under the
direction of Stephen, Exeter and Us -
borne Religious Educational Council.
The opening worship service was in
charge • of Rev. H. E. Koppel, pastor
of the church. Horace Delbridge, of
Elimville, presided and !Rev. D. J.
Gladman addressed the gathering on
the subject, "Christ in the Life of
the Community," Following group
discussion, the open forum was . led
by •Rev. 7.: W. Seibert, of Tavistock.
The vening session opened with :a
song service, led by Harry Hoffman.
and the worship 'service was in chax-
ge of Rev. Johnston of Lucan. Rev.
Cei:bert then spoke on ''`Acrophobia"
and Rev. 7 B. Moore of Grand Bend
spoke in connection with his recent
1t p to Palestine, illustrating his talk.
