Huron Plowing Match
T,he' 14th annualplowing match of
the Huron Plowmen's Association was
held Friday, Oct. 8th at the farm of
Ed. Rowland, southwest of Walton.
'The match was a success, although
the Weather cut down the attendance.
The 'yarioub classes of work being'
done. were keenly contested and it is
indeed gratifying to learn how the,
younger men of the farm are taking
an it'Lterest in good plowing as well
as farming, their chosen occupation
in life. The youngest class was boys
of from 16 to 19 years, of which
Norman. Dow of Staffa was the win-
ner hi plowing sod. It is indeed an
educational event for our farming
youth. "
