Dear Editor: For nearly a quarteei,
of a centuary I have rear: rods'"Herald". I and my family still feel
lost without it. Of course, my family
has grown up since I saw you last.
It may be somewhat of a surprise. to
you that my family is returning East.
Yes, the family is going back to
Hamilton on October 6th this year.
I hope to follow later. 1 have had
much work in this large city of Win- �
nipeg, and have been under the
Doctor's care for some time.

OBITUARY
Mrs. Joseph Ravelle, sr.
I Mrs. Joseph Ravelle died at the
home of her son, . Leonard, on. the
Blue Water Highway' after about 4
weeks illness following ,a stroke. She
was in her 77th year and is Survived
by four sons, Joseph and Peter, of
Grand Bend; Leonard and "Cerny, of
the Blue Water Highway and one
daughter, Mrs. Harvey Bossenberry,
of Pincher Creek, Alta., also three.
brothers, Frank and Remy Jeffrey, of
St. Joseph and Cl•ifFord Jeffrey, of
London, and two sisters, 11Irs. Leo
Jeffrey, of St. Joseph, and Mrs. Ce -
1 tna A.yotte, of Zurich. The funeral
service was held on Tuesday from
:the residence, with Rev. Mr. Jones
officiating. Interment in Grand Bend
cemetery.
• Late Mrs.' Turnbull
' Mrs. Marion Turnbull, relict of the
late Robert Turnbull, passed away at
the home of her son, Mr. Max. Turn. -
bull, ort the Blaze Water Highway,
near Brewster on Monday last, on
her 85th year. Deceased ;was highly
esteemed by all who knew her and
was one of the pioneers! of the corn-
munity. The funeral was held on
Wednesday and was largely attended,
interment taking place in Grand
Bend cemetery.

hair fern. She was attended by Miss
Mary. Paterson of Grand Bend as
bridesmaid. She wore pink taffeta
with lace jacket, satin slippers and
snatching accessories, and carried
bouquet of honey comb dahlias. Er -
yin Rader, brother of the groom was
best man. The ushers were: Elgin ;
Rader and Garnet Weisberg. During;

Klunipp played softly "I Love You
Truly". Following the ceremony a
wedding dinner was served at the
•horne of the groom's parents, four
cousins of the groom serving the
many •guests from a table decorated
in pink and centred with. a beautiful
wedding cage. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd
Rader left later for a honeymoon in
Buffalo, N.Y. The bride was the
recipient of many beautiful gifts, in-
cluding a chest' Of silverware from
the groom. Guests were present
from London .and Detroit.
