"THE EXPERTS AND THE PUNKS"
Why must summer come and spoil their fun?
Then the sports of Zurich lay up their gun.
And pray to Live another year to go,
Chasing Jack Aabbits all day through the snow.
These hardy souls, sports right clown to the core,
All summer argue gauge; shot, sight and the bore,
Of their gun and tell of the jacks they got.
Each wilt admit they are the world's best shot.
Harry Yungblut will tell of the time,.
Ile stood a mile away and hit a dime.
Not once but every time he could do this.
K2 was; a crack shot, he would never miss.
Then take Will Siebert, lie was a dead shot.
Others often would miss, .but Will would nat.
Any- time he took aim, something would fall.
When Will shot, if it flew or it would .crawl.
Then there's Jack Rau, one of the world's best.
He will loundly boast and throw out his chest
And telt how he would shoot a curve and bit,
A jack behind a tree;where he wiuld sit.
These old experts all laugh today to hear,
The young puckers when they tell of last year,
When they boast they shot four jacks in one day_
These sharpshooters call this just small boys play.
These young guys around town think they are good,
But how' ashamed they would feel if they should,
Shoot against the old experts in their printe,
When they could shoot a anile and hit a dime.
The time has taken' a tollof these three,
.Old experts, they :stili today wilt agree,
They still can outshoot the young punks yet.
'V And a thousand alolliore .each they will bet.

SPORT NEWS
Juvenile Basehail
On Friday, July 30th the local
kids btat the Seaforth Juveniles on
the home grounds 11 to 6. It was
the fast win of the season for the
home lads and they owe this victory
to young Bruce Bloomfield who did
the hurling. Except for his wildness
Bloomfield pitched sensationally, str-
iking out fifteen and allowing only 3
scattered hits 'in six innings. Poor
support by his mates, coupled with
eight bases on balls netted the Sea -
forth team six runs.
Watch for the date of the next
Juvenile game and come out to see
Zurich's newest pitching find in act-;
ion. You will be surprised at the
improvement the new line-up of the
club has shown. Come out and give
the youngsters a cheer as they are
put for a place in the play offs and
will not be denied.
