Blue Water Highway.
The Choir of St. Peter's' Ev.
Lutheran church, Zurich have recent-
ly been supplied with suitable choir
gowns by the congregation, which
are very appropriate to wear during
the church service periods.
Miss Ruby Hendrick, R. N., of
Detroit is at present spending some
time at her home on the Blue Water
RighWay, and also was in attendance
at the home of her brother's family,
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hendrick.
South Huron Junior Farmers
The regular monthly meeting of
the South Huron Junior Farmers' As
sociation was held in the Town Hall,
Zurich an Wednesday, Feb. 3, The
meeting was opened •by the president
Wilfred Mousseau, followed by -the
a-611 call which was answered by nam -1
ing your favorite hockey star. The
minutes of the previous meeting we-
re read by the Secy., Geo. Ducharme
Motion, that minutes be adopted as
read. A number of speakers were
then called upon, Wilfred Ducharme
speaking on current events. Mr. Ian,.
MacLeod, Agricultural Representat-
ive. gave a splendid talk on the nec-
essity of reforestation, stressing the
point that the organization should
undertake a project of planting trees
in 'honor 'of the King's coronation.
Rev. Mr. Young, of Pensall, was the
next speaker, who gave an eloquent
talk on the subject, "What is Wrong
With the Farm?" Messrs. Len Masse
and Lorne Denomme then favored!
with a few musical numbers. The
meeting was adjourned, next meeting
