` MUST ELECT RURAL
TRUSTEES BY BALLOT
Enactment of new legislation in
1936 will necessitate rural school
sections having over 200 electors to
choose their trustees by ballot at the
municipal elections. Thiji will not
affect union school sections, nor any
sections that have less than 200 el-
ectors. The Zurich school, S. S. No
'7 Hay comes under thus category and
nominations for one trustee will be
received on the regular Municipal
Nomination Day, and if more than
one nominee grill qualify then an el-
ection will be held in the town hall
on the sauce day as the Township
election, said poll wilt h. in tho +•ow -
hall Zurich. And while it will be'
a little different than electing aoin,
one trustee at the annual school meet
ing, it will be held on election day.

GOING AFTER MOTHER
An example of the strong ties of
children's love for a mother was
stirringly shown by two young God-
erich boys a few clays ago. When
the children arrived home from scho-
ol one day they found a note from
their• rnotfher in which she informed
them she had gone to visit relatives
in a distant city. Te boys looked at
each other helplessly for a moment
and then came to a great decision.
When the husband and father arrived
hone for the evening neat he found
his wife's note and Lenide it a note
ir. a boyish hand: "We are hitch-'
hiking after mother."
