on her father's farm on Saturday
Jean Feagan, of Colborne Twp., aged

passing over ,the tot's head' when .she
was thrown out. Her' brother, Harney:
aged 14, driver ofthe team,, escaped
with bruises and lacerations when
pitched clear of the wheels. The boy
was crossing the road with- the tream
to get a, load of straw, reaching the
trate lie alighted to open it, meantime
beckoning the horses to proceed. The
little girl was sitting on the floor of
the wagon box alone. Something fri-
ghtened the horses and they started
to run a,s they passed through the
gate. The boy managed to ,get on the
wagon but could reach only the one
'line, and as the horses dashed madly
on, the right wheel of the wagon
struck soine rock that lined the dri-r.
veway, tilting the wagon and precip-
