Exhibition; Tor- onto, with his yearling ewe. - This is the first time he is exhibiting at Tor- onto and has been successful in car- rying- off a number of prizes. He is showing 12 sheep and drew 8 prize:. MAIL BOXES NUMBERED The local postoffice is issuing a sir- cular letter from the Department to instruct all rural mail -box holders to plainly print ,the number of their boxes thereon. To have the numb of their box on any letters sending out thneugh the mails, and this will greatly help the postmaster and emir ler to give good service. Tlri2 should be done at once. One can readily see that with this system in use there can be no excuse for improper de:. livery of the mails. In the case of strangers receiving their mail, ad- dress to your box, there will be no need of inquiring where they are. W. M. S. MEET The August Meeting of the W.M.S of St. Peter's Ev. Deichert and Miss I. Yungblut. ' •- Hensall Man Dies William Sangster, member of the Village Council, and pro- minent as a merchant, died suddenlyon Sunday. On Saturday, he return ed to his home complaining of feel- ing unwell and during the night pas- 3ed away. He was in his 47th year. Mr. Sangster served overseas, enlist• �d with the machine gun section. of 161st Battalion. Fifteen years iso he married Miss Minnie Sinclair, who, with four children survive. There also survives a brother, James. f Hensall, and his mother and a sis- ter. He was a member of Carmel Presbyterian Church, Hensall, from where the funeral was held on Tues- day afternoon. $75,000 Apple Crop More than $75,000 will be brought nto Middlesex County during . the next few months by an apple crop estimated to be 35 or 40 per cent greater than last year. A general inspection of the Hen- sall station and grounds took p'ace on Sept. 2, when J. F. Pringle, gen- eral supt., Toronto; C. J. McKeough supt., Stratford; D. McKenzie, civil engineer, Stratford and J. Billo, ro admaater, were present. The officials were well pleased, with the appear- ance of the station' and grounds and of the splendid business being done at the Hensall station. The new sta- tion was -beautifully decorated with large 'bouquets of flowers. This buil- ding is one of the finest and up-to- date stations in the province. • Death of Robert Eacrett. lhe' death occurred at London of Rob:Li Eacrett, a former resident of Hensall and 2nd con. Hay. He was born erryears ago at lot 13, con. 2, Hay, son of the late Chris Eacrett. After his marriage to .Margaret In - grans they moved to Hensall where he built a fine Koine. Later they mo- ved back to the farm, where they were extensively engaged in growing strawberries and other fruits. His beautiful farm and home was one of the show places of Huron.
