We do not know the object of this move as to whether they will occupy it themselves, or if it is intended for speculation. The future only will de- cide. Goderich for 60 years, dur- ing most of which he was actively associated with church choirs as leader or bass soloist, Edgerton, C. Belcher, aged 83 died on. Friday. Possessed of a fine voice, he had be- en heard with appreciation at hums-' reds of concerts and social affairs over a long period. For 30 years he conducted a bakery and for a time was chief of the volunteer fire hri gade. Grain Theft in Huron Goderich—With wheat and Parley near the dollar mark, they are prov- ing popular commodites for theives. On Saturday, Prov. Constable onstable h.. B. McCoy took Cloyton and Milton Lig- htfoot, imhtfoot, brothers aged 19 and 21 years into custody. They are charged. with the theft of 100 bushels of wheat and 75 bushels of barley from Usb- erne Twp. barns. Milton Lightfoot was arrested at 13a:insley, near Ailsa Craig, after a chase, and Clayton at his home in :Stephen Twp. After the thefts were reported a checkup of elevators gave police a clue. The total of grain thieving cases since threshing started in Huron Count this fall is five.. A Record Month Hensall had more- grain marketed. during the month of August than any other month in the history of that thriving town. Trucks are hauling grain: there from a radius of 60 miles and tracks and teams are often lined up for two or three blocks. The var-: 'i.ous grain elevators are running' niglet and day to handle the rush and a large staff of men are at work.; During the month of August 144 cars of grain were shipped from the ,:tat,ion, or 5,300 tons.
