growth of spring crops and grass,

Mr. Fred Papineeu lost a valuable
mare and colt this Wednesday morn-
ing. This is very unfortunate for Mr
Panineau.
Mr. and Mrs. Philip Denomme and
son Raymond motored to London
one day last week.
Quite a number from St. Peter's
parish are attending the special mis-
sion meetings in St. Boniface churchc
Zurich, where there is a very inter-
esting speaker with a wonderful mes-
sage.
We regret to report that Mr. Ed-
ward Brisson took another spell of
illness and was quite low but is iii=
proving at time of writing. His chin
dren: Father Brisson of St. 'Peter's
Seminary, London; Sister •Celena of.
Toronto, Sister Annelia of Stratford
and Mr. Ted. Brisson of Stratford
were called to their father's bedside.
A considerable number of holiday
visitors were seen passing through
the village over the week -end.

attending the annual W.M.S. conven-
tion in Crediton this week.

ed the graduation of their daughter
Zeta who graduated from Victoria
Hospital, London on Wednesday. We
extend congratulations.
Mrs. J. Kuntz returned home on
Tuesday after spending a new weeks

Late Mrs. Coulter
Mrs. Mary Jane Coulter, wife of
John Coulter, and a highly respected
resident of Hensall for over 55 years
passed away at her home on May
14th, ' after an illness of a few days.
She had been a sufferer from heart

victim of a painful accident. He was
splicing a wire fence when the stick
with which he was working flew up
'and struck him in the chin. The stick
went through the thin and cut up

which required a number of stitches
to close the wound..
