With the variety of weather being
dished out the past pest few weeks,
there is a most wonderful growth,
and things are looking up nicely, es-
pecially the fall wheat anct the gra
have made a most wonderful growth.,
The gardens around town are
pretty well all in and with the an-
nual housecleaning done up for an-
other year, the man gets a bit of e
breathing spell by running the lawn
mower till the heavy crap of weeds
come to smother out the garden
plantings. Interesting, isn't it?

ing a by-law was passed confirming
the purchase by the Public Utilities
Commission of five acres of land
from Garnet Frayne, Thames Road,.
situate on the north bank of the Aux
Sable, together with right-of-way.

er the water from these springs and
have it pumped down through the l
pipes to a reservoir with a capacity
of a quarter million gallons, same to 1

in varions parts of the community
