of the Hensall Chamber of Cornmerce

was given by Prof. Reilly of Western.
University, London. The chairman
was Rev. Beaverley Farr, rector of
St. PauI's church. Prof. Reilly, deal-
ing with economic problems of the
day spoke fully on the subject in all
its aspects, giving much valuable in-
formation. The lecture -was accomp-
anied by an interesting musical pro-
gram comprised by Miss Fisher; solo
Frank Battersby; two violin solos by
Miss. Lammie; solo by W. 0. Good-
win, leader of the United Church
choir.
Hensall Man Dies
Thomas Farquhar, for many years.
a resident of Hensall, died in Ham-
ilton, on March 20th, while on e
visit to his daughter. Ile had been in
poor health for many years, pie was
in his 78th year. ITie wife died 9
years ago. Surviving are two sons,;
Prank of Hensall; Charles, of near;
Brucefield ; two daughters, Mrs. Lam-'
I tort, of 1 arrrilton, and Miss Sophia. '
The remains were brought here on -
Monday and the funeral was 'held ala:'
