Hydrogen Used aspuet
The possibility that within 5 years,
the Hydro Electric Power Com. will
be selling hydrogen , obtained from
water by electricity, and distributed
-through gas 'mains for fuel was ex:-
presed by Stewart Lyon, chairman, of
the Ont. Hydro Electric Power Com.
Speaking • at the COTifexence of the
Western District of the Ont. Munici-
pal Electric Associations the hydro
chief revealed that experiments on
on the electrolysis of water are being
conducted now in the Id'.E.P.C'. lab-
atorles..He designated. hydrogen as
an odorless gas, whose high explosive
quality may be dampened scientific-
ally. Electricity would be used to
break up the water into its constitu-
ent parts.

a Government bill sponsored by Min•

give the Government the ';power to
require that a register of guests is
kept at .tourist camps, surnan.er camps
and summer: resorts.
