ing some time with relatives and fri-
ends in Detroit land around Michigan.

a narrow escape of having her house*
like new. burned one day last week, when the
pipes of the stove were blazing red
tf33 hot and the paper on the ceiling of
the room had .started to burn. But
with Mrs. Brenner's heroic, attealipt
to distinguish the 'flames and with the
assistance of the neighbors the blaze
'was brought under control.

CONCERT COMING
The people of Zurich and vicinity
will have the opportunity of being
entertained by local talent in the
Town Hall, Zurich, on Friday even-
ing•, February 21st, when the play
"For Pete's Sake" will be presented
by local talent, under the auspices of
the Zurich. Athletic Club. A good
entertainment is assured with plenty
of fun and comic. The object of
the concert is to give the people of
the district some good entertainment
and to raise surae money which will
be used for equipment of the Zurich
Ball Club, as Zurich intends putting
•a real good ball team in the league

Hold Summer Meet
At the annual meeting of the God-
erich Trotting and Facing Associat-
ion, held least Monday, it was decid-
ed to hold the regular summer meet-
ing on civic holiday this year, a-
