Bachert-Schwartzentruber'
A pretty wedding was sOlarrinized
at the home of Mr. and:Mrs: gnis.,
Schwartzentruber on Stindassaafter-
noon, December 7th, when their'dau-
ghter Mabel was united in marriage
to Albert Edward, youngest soml of
Mr. and Mrs. Gideon Bachert of Kit-
chener. The bride was becomingly at-
tired in a fitted rose dress with wine
accessories. She was attended by. her
sister Edith Who was dressed in
capen blue. The groom was ,attended
by Mr. Ross Bachert of Kitchener.
Bishop Moses 0. Jantz,i of Baden,
officiated. After the ceremony a wed
ding supper was .served to about 45
guests, the bridal table being center-
ed' with a three story wedding cake
and draped with pink and white
streamers. After a wedding trip to
New York, the young couple will re-
side near Zurich.

Hensall Council Minutes
The relugar meeting of the Village
Council was held on the eve of Dec.
1st in the Couneil Chamber with all
members -present. Minutes of the pre-
vious meeting were adopted as read.
A 'delegation from the Chamber
of Commerce appeared asking for a
donation towards the annual Christ-
mas tree. Motion, that we grant the
Chamber of Commerce $15 for the
said tree. Motion,that the Reeve
issue a proclamation declaring Box-
ing Day, Dec.' 26th putrid- holiday.
R. J. Paterson, tax collector,. re-
ported as receiving $4949.11 in taxes
to date and $1046.23 since .last meet-
ing.
