winter blizzards in many years str-

impossible to keep No. 8 Highway

There passed away at his hairiein,
Hensall, on Sunday, November 30th
iG,T(i'. Peter Schwalm in his 68th year,
following a lengthy illness, of heart
condition. The deceased was born
ilia Hay Township and spent practti;e-
ally all his life on the Schwalm home-
stead ' on the IBiind linte,a •bboz t a
mile ;and .a half from Zurich, until
he nttivod` to Hensall four years ago.
Surviting is his widoW and twelve
of a family, six sons. Pte. Austin
Schwalm in 'England, Lee, Hamilton;
Mervyn, Stratford; Gordon, Ray and
Carl at Hensall; the: daughters, Mae
and Margaret at London; Vielet, St.
Thomas; (Nelda)) Mrs. Harrlld Han-
son, Stratford and (i,oreen) Mrs.
R•obt. McKenzie;, Hensall and Flor-
ence at home.. A sister, Mrs. Pfaff
of Exeter, anti a brother Mr. Albert
Schwalrn, of Itindersly, Sask.. A pri-
vate funeral service was held from
the late home on Tuesday at 2 p.m.

tor of the Lutheran Church, Zurich,
of which the deceased' was a member,
