Grediton, Thursday eve. last. Peo-
ple gathered from far and near, ...eut
the attendance was somewhat affect-
ed this by the rain. The tables were
well laden with the many goodies
prepared by the ladies. Following the

Seventeen juniors met on Wednes-

annual election of officers. The meet-

The first meeting of the Albright

of "Men's Day" in the church some
Sunday in November. The- next meet-
ing of the Brotherhood will be held

Cyclist Hurt in Londoii.
A collision of a car and, motor!.
cycle at Queen's Avenue and Adel -
gide st, London, last Wednesday af,
ternoon, sent the cyclist,' Andrei
Denomme, 19,. of Zurich, to St. Jos-
eph's Hospital, London. The .extent
of his injuries :was undetermined,
but it was feared he might have in-
ternal injury. The crash came as
the motorcyclist -drove off Queen's
Avenue unto Adelaide Street and,
according to police, was in collision
with a car driven by Norman IVIorgap
