learn of the sudden passing of Mr.
Solomon Schroeder who lives twu
,and a hail miles east of town, on
the Parr rine corner, when it was
learned that while out in the field'
forking beans he was suddenly strite
ken and' tell over dead. Deceased who
was in. his 59th year, always seemed -
to be or a strong robust build, but
'seemingly he had a heart condition
which proved fateful. His wife, who
was formerly Miss Amelia Bendbr,
was with him at the time, she colt=
apsed from shock and was put un -
kr the doctor's care. Dr. P. .1:
O'Dwyer of Zurich was summoned:
The deceased who was a prominent
member of St. Peter's Lutheran
church, Zurich, havim;" been a mem-
ber of the Board of Elders for some
years, was born on the Bronson Tine
Hay Township and after the home-
stead was sold there he purchased a
farm on the Parr Line, later moving
on the fine farm where he died. A
man of sterling qualities and was
well and favorably known in the cam
munity. Besides his sorrowing widow
a son Edward, at home survive, also
four sisters, Mrs. T. K. Ehlers and
Mrs. S. Zimmerman of Zink:14 Mrs.
A. Musser of Dashwood and Mrs.
Dalston, of Washington State. The
funeral took place on Wednesday
