GOOD PROSPECTS
G. L. Parsons of Goderich and Carl
Manore of Sarnia, president and sec-
retary respectively of the Bine Water
highway Association made a taus of
the confer with representative men
at the°various centres along the route
On their trip Mr. Parsons said, he and
Mr. Manore had found men at work
on the 22 -mile strip unpaved high-
way between Forest and Grand Bend
Ten thousand tons of course crushed
rock will first be put on this stretch
to be followed by 20,000 tons of
mulch, which will make a fine pave-
ment. This work will not necessitate
inconvenience to .traffic, since moto-
rists can drive over the mulch as
soon as it is laid. The stretch from
Grand Bend to Bayfield is unready
paved. Between Bayfield to Goderich
the work of surveying the highway
has been completed. Men ..re at work
on the ten mile strip of high --.'ay be-
tween ,Goderich and Port klber t.From
Port Albert to Kincardine the road
will be surveyed. North of Kincard-
ine it is paved. Altogether, Mr. Par-
sons sees a prospect that the paving
of the entire' road will be ,completed
this year.
