Rev. Kiri: Gretzenger Called

Hespital, on: GSretheesclay, March ..19th,
after a -lengthy illness of Rev. Karl
Gretzenger at the age or 58 years.
An Evangelical minister far 32 yrs.
his last ministry being in. the North
Easthope‘ciicuit, which he relinquish-
ed •a little over a. year owing to ill
health and' moved' to. W'aterIoo. The
late Ma ,Gretzenger who. was of Ger-
man extraction. was a native of Rus-
sia, where. lie- was born in 1882. He
came with the family 40 years ago,
and settled:in the Canada West Win-
nipeg. lie. entered: Naneeville College
to study for the ministry and gradu-
ated in 1912; serving. trine years in
the Northwest, cam& Conference at
Melville, Sask., and ilfedicine Hat,
Alberta. He came to Ontario about
23' years agoand served in the Rock-
inghem, Miltheray, Port Elgin, South
Cayuga and' Pelham circuits before
'going to Nerd East Hope, from
iwhich he wasobliged to retire 16
