Miss Cora Streets and Ellen Frem-
in of town visited over Sunday at
their homes in Clinton.
Mr. A. E. Hamilton and Miss Doris
of London were recent Sunday visit-
ors at the home of Mr. and Mrs.

days last week at the home of her

Mrs. Harold Forbes of Sandusky.

training for Sergeant Pilot at Tor-

The Zurich Branch of the Wom-
en's Institute will meet.in the Town
Hall, on Monday eve. March 24th,
for tiler April meeting. The annual
Oection of officers will take place at
this meeting. The roll call will be

mbers are requested to be present.
Has Hand Injured
• Mr. Edward Beaver, an employee
of F. C..Kalbeisch Planing Mills had
the misfortune to have one of the
fingers on his left hand caught in one
of the machines causing a torn cord
and a broken bone. It required •a-
bout twenty stitches to close the
wound. Mr. Beaver will be unable
to work for some time, and his many
friends will regret learning of this
misfortune....

was the scene of a pretty wedding on
Saturday, March •8th at 2,30 p.m.
when Rev. J. R. Peters of Varna,
united in, marriage their daughter,
Ethel Norine, and Elmer J. Hayter,
son of Mr and Mrs. Wm. Hayter, of
Stanley. Miss Grace Andrews, fri-
end of the bride, of Carlisle, Sask.,
played the wedding music. The cere-
mony was performed under an arch
decorated with pink and

aers . and Maiden -hair fern. The
bride chose • a flooriength gown of
white taffeta, sky .blue d'esprit net
trimmed with orange blossoms, long
satin appliqued net veil caught up
with her mother's bridal wreath of
quet of ph* carnations and fern.The
bridesmaid, iss Alma Forsythe RN of
Toronto, were a flooriength gown of
pink net over satin, and carried wht
carnations: The groom was attended
by his brother, Harvey Hayter. The
bride's mother roceived, wearing a
valley ,blue crepe dress trimmed with
lace DaiSlar and pink ide box roses.
