TOO MUCH RENT
We arc in receipt of a communicat-
ion from Eckala Brothers, Toronto,
who are well known in these parts as
entert-mens and who are at Town
Hall Hensall on the eve. of January
• 31st. This is part of their letter:
"Sorry to have to miss old Zurich,
where we have been playing far the
past 45 years, but have to pass it up
on account of too high rent for the
piano." We regret that such a
condition exists in our local, town hall
if we are not mistaken there are two
pianos in the hall and surely one of
these could be rented at a fair rent
which we are sure Eckardt Bros.
who most of us know quite well,
would be willing to pay a fair ,rent
for the ure of the instrument for an
hour or two. Too bad to miss this
show, as they always leave consider-
able money in town during their vis-
its here .
