MANY SHIPS ARRIVE
Goderich—The winter fleet is rap-
idly assembling at the harbor, with
no fewer than nine vessels already
tied up here, and prospect, of more
to come. There are a few days sail-
ing left before navigation closes,but
because of the bad weather the past
week ships hesitate to go out. There
has been plenty of activity at the
harbor, as ships arrived and tied up
for the winter while others were un-
loading their cargoes. The snow ere-
-.ted hovac with the trucks arriving
with salt for the Hudson and other
supplies.
