gent, of London, spent Sunday with
his family at their home on the Blue

Mrs. Wilbus Dewey of Grand. Bend
spent a few days with her mother,
Mrs. Leon Jeffrey. of Beavertovm.
Mr, Wm. Ducharme is confined to
his bed for a few day i due to a
stamach ailment.
On Sunday last the infant baby of
Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Charrette was
rushed to the hospital with a severe
attack of pneumonia and at time of
writing is reported improving.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ducharme of
Blake spent Sunday evening with 11.tr.
and Mrs. F. Ducharme on the Blue
'MI:ater south.
Mr. Alphonse Jeffrey left on Mon-
day last where he will be employed
in St. Peter's Seminary at London,
for the coming year .
Miss Thelma Seamon of St Joseph
north, spent Sunday with Miss Luc-
ille Jeffrey of Beaver Town.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ducharme and
son Blaise were Sunday visitors with
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Ducharme' of
Pointe Aux Bouleau, also with the
former's father, who is living with
his son William.
Messrs. Leonard Sararas and Maur-
ice Masse motored to Leamington,
and other points on Monday last on
a business trip,

Blue Water north, spent a few days
with Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Jeffrey.

Farmers in this vicinity are being
'kkept busy these past few days re-
pairing their barn roofs and other
damages caused by the recent wind
storm causing thousands of dollars
of damage to the farming industry.

Late Mrs-, Troyer
A former citizen of Seaforth pass-
ed away at Scott Memorial Hospital
in the person of Sarah Ann Hudson,
widow of the late James Troyer, i
her 78th year, following an operation
She had been ill for eight weeks at
the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sd-
ney Gemmell, and was taken to the
hospital a week. In her early marriage
life she was a practical nurse, was
born in Stanley Twp and was marri-
ed to James E. Troyer. They moved
first to Hensall and 34 years ago to
Seaforth, where she lived until she
made her home with her daughteer,
Mrs. Atkinson of Toronto and Mrs. S
