HAD BIG LOSS
Commercial fishermen along the
Lake Huron were heavy losers as a
result of the recent big storm, they
discovered when an attempt was
made to lift nets on Sunday. One
fisherman at Goderieh alone lost ov-
er $800 worth of trout nets set in
10 to 15 fathoms of water off Kin -
tail, 18 miles north of that place.
Many of the nets were literally torn
to pieces.

N MEMORIAM
Pfile—In loving memory of a dear
mother, Mrs. Susan Pfile, who• pass-
ed away one year ago, November 27
1939. •
Peacefully sleeping, resting at last
The world's weary troubles and trials
are past,
In silence she suffered,
In patience 'she bore
Till God called her home
To suffer no more.
Ever remembered by her children.

Deer Hunting
The deer hunting season closed on
Tuesday and what is shot is history,
and .at, is missed will have to re-
ina4-4.7.? f r another. year. Messrs
CvTrxi •Yung,blut;';lacob and Ferdinand
Haberer retunrned on. Sunday from
a hunting trip north of Belville, and
brought along three very choice deer.
We can vouch for that as the for-
mer, Ivan, treated us to a fine piece
of venison which just hits the palate
of a publisher who cannot get off to
shoot his own. deer. The deer brought
in were nice large strgs. We have
not heard from Mr. Hei'b Mousseau
and party who are up north, but will
likely return this Wednesday.
Died at Kitchener
Novenvber 22, 1939.
The blow was great, the shock severe
We little thought his death so near
But God was good he give us grace
To bear our heavy loss
He bade no one his last, farewell.
He -waved his hand to none
His spirit fled before we knew
That he from us had gone.
Ever remembered by his Brothers
and Sisters.
