LANDS BIG FISH
There was excitement on the dock
at Grand lend the other day when
.Ann 1<ic;rie Rivers and her aunt Miss
Lillian Huston, landed a 211a . inch
spike while fishing, E::ery fine day at
the Bead men and women, boys and
girls can be seen on the d-ac1 with
the fish lines dangling in the cool
avatar. Sometimes they ju.a dangle
for hours with little or no luck and
at other times fine strings of perch
and sometimes a hearing or bass re-
wards the efforts and patir'nce of the
ardent followers of Isaac Walton.
But when a pike strikes the hook and
the line start_ out at a rapid rate,
the haart beats a little faster with
the thrill that only a fisherman knows
and all on the. dock come to life.
