Little Betty and Kenneth Witmer
of Detroit are spending the week
with her grandma, Mrs. Clara De-
cker of town.
Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Wagner of
'Guelph were visitors with the form-
ers' parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. C.
Wagner, a few days.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Aulerich and
son Richard of Detroit were Sunday
visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
L. A. Prang, Mrs. Aulerich and son
remaining with her parents for the
week.
We regret that 14r. Edward Mer-
ner of the Goshen line Stanley on
Tuesday while ro"Eng in the field,
the horses became unmanageable,
throwing Mr. Merner off the roller
and injuring him.
Mr. Randall Cole, M. A., a former
teacher of Zurich School was in
town on Monday. Mr. Cole has been
successful to become a member of
the mathematics teaching staff of the
Wu.r►:rn University, London.
Don't forget the fall fairs of the
community the next month when
they will be held. The prize lists
for both Zurich and Bayfield Fairs
are in the hands of the printer and
by the end of the week will be in
the hands of the Secretaries. The
officials of these fairs are doing ev-
erything in their power to make them
a big success. Watch for further an-
nouncements of the programs.
OBITUARY
Late George Eisenbach
There passed away at Grand Bend
on Thursday evening of last week,
George Eisenbach at the home of
his son Peter Eisenbach, at the ad-
vanced age of 83 years. The deceased'
had been in ailing health for the past
three years. Born on the 12th con-
cession of Stephen Township; he. has
resided for a goodly number of years
'with his son Peter at Grano. Bend.
Previous to this Mr. Eisenbach farm-
ed: on the 14th concession, Flay- T'wp.
where the family was born and raised'
:He was a fine type of citizen and' a
good neighbor always ready and wil-
li'ng- to give assistance when ever he
rauld and is held in high esteem in
;the Iocality where he resided' for a
goodly number of years. S'wrviving•
is one daughter, 'Mrs. Noah ,Gratton,
!of Montreal, and two sons, William
of Detroit, and Peter of Grand Bend,
is daughter, 'Mrs. Elmer Willert of
Grand Bend predeceased .a few years
ego; also one sister survives, Mrs•.
Frank Eack, of Detroit, and one.

The funeral was- held to Grand Remit
