Nixon announced he has ordered a
strict economy campaign affecting all
Government departments. Ultimate
aim of the campaign is to reduce the
cost of government so as to cut pro-
vincial taxation to the point where re
-cent increases in Dominion income
taxes and addition of a defence tax
may be equalized.

A tug owned by W. Menary of
Lion's Head is distributing the fry

The fry are placed in cans in which
the water has to be changed eontinu
ally until the email fish are placed in
the lake each trip. Over three million
of the fry are ibeing placed in Lake
Huron and nearly a are held
in reserve to be placed in inland wat-
ers. The fry am distributed over a
large section of the coast of Lake
Huron.
