A puiet spring wedding was sol-
emnized at the Evangelical Lutheran
Parsonage, London, when RetaGrace
P. Fassold, of Dashwood, was united
in marriage to Mr. Melton Wal,per,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Walper
also of Dashwood. Rev. C. J. Kill-
inger B.A., officiated. The bride was
charmingly gowned in navy sheer!
with white accessories and wore a!
shoulderette of lilies of • the valley
and carnations. The young couple
were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Clar-
ence Routledge of. Ingersoll.

A quiet but pretty wedding took
place at the Evangelical parsonage,
Dashwood, last .Saturday afternoo:i
at 3 o'clock, when Miss Della Smith,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin
Smith of the Bronson line ;_lay Twp.,
and Clarence Howard Melick, son of
Mr. Alfred and the late Mrs. Melick
of -Zurich, were united in marriage
by Rev. H. E. Roppel. The wedding'
parlor at the parsonage. was decor-
ated with a profusion of ferns. and
June flowers and the bride 'looked
charmingly lovely in 'her gown of
pastel !Blue with hat to match, carry-
ing an elaborate bequet of bridal
flowers. After the ceremony the hap-
py couple returned to the parental
home of the bride where about 30
close friends greeted them at a wed-
ding supper. Mr. and Mrs. Melick .
will take up residence on the Melick
farm near Zurich, north of town. The
Herald , joins the many friends in i
