The Farmers of the Zurich district
who :belong to the Evangelical church
delighted a large congregation with
a miscellaneous program. on Sunday
evening. It was the first time that
"Rural Life Sunday" was observed.
In the morning the Pastor, Rev. C.
B. Heckendorn spoke on the subject
'Men of the Soil." The evening ser-
vice consisted of the following: Chair
man, Mr. A. Melick. The Scripture
was read by Mrs. M. McAdams. A
Men's chorus comprising; Urban Pfile
Garfield Witmer, Oscar Gre;,, Milton
Oescli, Edgar Wuerth, Deiberc Geiger
Hilton Truemner, and A. Melick
sang "Some of these Days". A poem
"God is !Here" was read by Ruth
in St; Boniface Church on Sunday
morning. They continued until the
solemn closing on Tuesday evening.
The services were conducted by Rev-
erend Wm. Murphy of the Redemp•-
torist Monastry, London.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Oliver of Lon-
don spent Sunday at the home of
Mrs. Chas. Weber. Mrs. Flossie
Brawn returning with them as Mr.
and Mrs. Oliver are moving their
household furnishings this week to
St. Marys where they will occupy a
