Mr. Quimby Hess, who Is attend-
ing Toronto University, was a week-
end visitor at his home here.
Class Re -Organizes
A very pleasant evening was re-
cently spent in the basement or the
Evangelical Church, when the memb-
era of the "I Serve" Class of which
Mr. E. M, Dagg is 'teacher, met for a
social evening in Connection with
their election of officers whieh re-
sulted as follows: President, Kathleen
Hay; Vive Pres., Mrs. Delbert Geiger
Secretary, Mrs. Roy Merner; Treas-
urer, Miss Ruby Church. The bal-
ance of the evening was enjoyed in
various games and eonteste. . de-
licious lunch was served, and all en-
joyed the evening .together..

Held Special Meeting
The Council of. the Townsldp of
Hay held a special meeting in the
office of the Clerk, Mr. A. F.Hess,
when. a number of items of interest
